The main goal of the conference is to gain a collective perspective on what comes next and the roles of young people in various fields.
Frida Amani participated in a discussion focusing on how art and culture can bring about change in society. She was joined by an online comedy artist from Nigeria, Maryam Apaokagi-Greene, popularly known as Taaooma, and artist Malak Mattar from Palestine. In her contribution, Frida Amani said, “Hip hop music has given me the opportunity to say what I want to convey to society, regardless of whether you like it or not. The important thing is to ensure it is the right message for society.”
She also explained how hip-hop music can bring about change in society, pointing out that hip hop has created a platform for entertainment, education, and addressing the wrongs happening in our communities. Also, Frida Amani said, “It has been a great time for me to participate in this youth forum. I have seen the power of young people in bringing change to their nations, learned many things, and gained more understanding.
